I am certified in Gottman: Levels 1, 2, & 3; Treating Affairs and Trauma, Addiction, Bringing Baby Home, and The Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work; I'm working toward becoming one of three Certified Gottman Therapists in NM. I am also certified in Perinatal Mental Health (PMH-C), as well as Financial Social Work (CFSW).

I have been fascinated by mental health for as long as I can remember. During and after college, I studied speech therapy, psychology, hypnotherapy, and talk therapy. After a mind-blowing birth experience with my third child, our childbirth education company Blissborn was born — we now have teachers all over the world and have supported thousands of families. In 2012, I took a job at a local birth center called Dar a Luz, where I worked for over 12 years. It’s a great privilege to support people through their struggles and achievements, and I love it more each day.

My own struggles with mental health: I suffered with panic disorder for many years, and then I found my way out of it through self-esteem work, education, and building better habits of thought. I haven’t had a panic attack in over 25 years. This led me to become a passionate advocate for finding a way out of worry, stress, anxiety, and panic.

I still work with pregnancy, childbirth, the postpartum period, and fertility. In addition, I love working with individuals, couples, adults, and older teens. I focus on individual therapy, couples therapy, and sex therapy.

I focus on creating a therapeutic relationship defined by trust, authenticity, and mutual respect.

In my work, I draw from a variety of therapeutic modalities to ensure that our time together is tailored to your unique goals. Whether you are facing transitions, managing daily stressors, or seeking a deeper understanding of yourself, I provide a compassionate environment where you can explore your experiences without judgment. I believe that therapy is a collaborative journey, and I am honored to walk alongside my clients as they move toward healing and growth.

Based in New Mexico, I am deeply connected to our local community and the unique landscape we call home. When I am not working with clients, I focus on my own journey of balance and well-being, ensuring I bring my most present and grounded self to every session.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 13 years of experience in the mental health field. A graduate of New Mexico Highlands University, I am licensed in both New Mexico and Colorado and am recently trained in EMDR. I specialize in guiding individuals through anxiety, depression, and significant life transitions.

My professional journey has spanned diverse settings, including schools and hospitals, giving me a deep understanding of the many ways life can feel overwhelming. My approach is client-centered and flexible. I avoid a one-size-fits-all mentality, choosing instead to collaborate with you to find the unique path that fits your specific needs.

On a personal level, I am a passionate advocate for the idea that "you are not in this alone." I strive to offer a safe, caring environment where you can grow at your own pace.

Outside the therapy room, I enjoy recharging amidst the beautiful New Mexico landscape and spending time with family and friends.

I bring together strategic leadership, business expertise, and a deep respect for people. I focus on creating strong, secure systems while fostering a culture where employees feel supported, clients feel cared for, and the organization can grow with purpose.

My passion for business began early in my career, when I launched my first small venture providing editing and writing services for book authors and newspapers. That entrepreneurial foundation eventually intersected with a deep and lasting commitment to women’s health. In 2007, Laura and I co-founded Blissborn, a childbirth education company dedicated to informed, empowered care.

I later played a key role in the creation and long-term leadership of Dar a Luz, a nonprofit birth center, where I served for more than twelve years. These experiences shaped my belief that well-designed organizations can profoundly improve people’s lives.

Today, I find great meaning in supporting both clients and therapists within our group therapy practice. At Integrition, we strive to be professional, kind, and effective—building systems that run seamlessly so our clients can focus on healing and our therapists can feel genuinely supported. Through thoughtful structure and compassionate leadership, we aim to contribute to a healthier, more connected world.
